Want another bit of "anecdotal" info?
I never had trouble with dry eyes while nursing either baby-- when Jeff was about
2 (and still frequently breastfeeding) I decided it was time to ditch the glasses
and go back to soft contacts. I hadn't had contacts in 8-9 years.
They were MISERABLE. I braved them for a couple of days, during which time I'm
sure anyone who saw me thought I was on drugs-- red, scratchy, painful eyes-- the
lubricants helped a bit, but not enough.
That was about 16 months ago. Last week I saw my contacts were still viable-- I
tried them, no problems. Jeff is down to maybe one 3-minute session a day.
Now I need a new prescription...
