I don't know that this is true about not being able to differentiate bewteen
blood clots & placental tissue, but it raises questions: even if true, why
would there be a sizable blood clot present at 12 days pp? And, blood clot
or placental fragments either one, wouldn't a D&C be appropriate if she is
still having significant bright red bleeding w/small clots @ 12 days pp?
Or, OTOH, maybe improving the latch significantly will quickly assist
uterine involution and bring about an end to the bright red bleeding - get
the uterus clamping down & quickly expelling any clot/RPOC. I would think
that if that's the case you'd see results very quickly....Hmm, let us know.
