Just updating you on the 4 month old with bloody stools.The blood is
more than just a little, and is bright red, not currant jelly stool
though. Mom states
it is also mucousy. The folks at Oregon Health Division feel there may
be a connection to the vaccine, apparently the colitis can begin before
intussusception occurs. They spoke with the local doc, who also
consulted a pedi - they've stopped breastfeeding for one week. The babe
is now on predigested "expensomil" formula. I'm hoping that one of the
three physicians who have examined this child over the past two months
has looked for anal fissure, but I don't know, will mention it. Thanks
