Rachelle asks,
<< I am working with a mom of 5mo twins who is feeding them 6x/day, she
wants to
know if that is OK (they are on target growth wise). She follows a certain
very strict parenting book. >>
Isn't is sad that this mom is not confident with her own mothering instincts
at this stage of the game. I like Jack's comment: "Any guide that says "x"
number of feedings is wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. That's 4 wrongs. Does that
make a right?"
Personally I would not be able to tell you how many times my babies/toddlers
nursed at any given stage- they just fed nursed when they wanted to and life
was so easy! No clocks, calendars, charts.
