I used to work in the pharmaceutical industry, for a company which
sold DMSO, and I have to tell you that it is _nasty_ stuff. I
wouldn't even want it in the same house as a child - among other
things, it's a vehicle for other chemicals - meaning that if any
other chemical is mixed with it, and you rub it on your skin, the
other chemical can be carried to your blood system.
I don't know of any studies with respect to breastfeeding and DMSO
(and there may be a _reason_ for that!) - but I sure wouldn't take
the chance.
