We recently hired a nurse to our unit to be our Lactation Educator. She has
experience as a Childbirth Educator and nursed her own 3 children. She is
very anxious to learn and become a LC. I recently became IBCLC. What should
be the division between our roles? What should be her limitations? How must
counseling can she do? My nurse manager is confused. As a staff nurse, I
don't want to step on her toes.
