Well, I didn't see ER (sob, sob...I can't get it where I am), but Jack's
very interesting point raises a major thorn in my side...In the US, the lack
of comprehensive paid family leave and decent wages for single parents to be
able to support their kids on something fewer than 3 jobs. It could be that
the producers were trying to make THAT point? Not that I'm defending this,
but even in a supposedly booming economy, minimum wages are not sufficient
to live on. The flip side of this is that these are the women who most need
to bf because of the financial and disease prevention benefits. Did I say I
was stepping off?
