IMHO, I would contact (1) the hospital ombudsman, (2) hospital social
worker (maybe, depending on how bf friendly he/she is), (3) an attorney,
(4) change hospitals, if possible.
This mom sounds like she's ready to get tough with the hospital, she
might need a little permission/assistance. She might be surprised how
fast she gets results when she is very clear about what she wants/doesn't
want for her child and backs it up with a letter on legal firm
letterhead. The local LLL might have an attorney/mom who is willing to
do this for free or a nominal fee if mom can't afford the regular fee.
