Thanks, Kathleen, for pointing us in this direction. I looked this up
and tried to do a search. Ended up finding 20 articles under
protein-induced colitis. Didn't do so well with some other key words.
(Breastmilk colitis didn't find me any and just colitis found too
many.) There were a couple of articles about breastfed babies,
including the one you quoted (Lake et al), but what disturbed me was
that in each the solution was to wean the babies onto hypoallergenic
formulas, rather than sort out what it was in the mother's diet and
remove that.
Does anyone know if there are any articles where they don't just wean
the babies to 'solve' the problem??
