Although Marfans syndrome is predominately a cardiac related problem, it
can cause many other difficulties as well. Aneurysm can occur in other
locations besides the most common aortic one.
The internal mammary artery was the location of an aneurysm in one case
report I found. (see below)
Marfan syndrome also can have obstetrical consequences like cervical
incompetence, abnormal placental site, and post partum hemmorhage.
