Another thing that we can do is go into the hospital gift shops & ask the
managers to avoid stocking any items (including those balloons) that have
bottles on them. I have also seen those big pink & blue ribbons that have
some little plastic trinkets glued on-they always seem to have bottles. I
always have the urge to pull them off-but I could never do that.
Then maybe we could expand & appeal to the bakeries & some of the
independently run children's shops in town to avoid stocking items with
bottles on them.
Maybe this could be worked into World Breastfeeding Week celebrations next
year.
