     I've worked with several Down Syndrome babies.    I agree that 45
minutes of pumping is too long and probably stressful.  How about an SNS at
breast, putting every precious drop of breast milk into it and using the
dancer hand position while feeding.  What kind of bottle was mom using?  I've
had good success with the Haberman.  You could put formula supp into a
Haberman or put that into SNS too.  I find the SNS is harder to clean after
using formula, so sometimes do both.  Good luck with this mom and baby.
