I don't recall this coming up here before ...

Last night we watched the video "The Sweet Hereafter," which was in general
a really sad downer of a movie (story about a town after children killed in
a bus wreck). BUT ... the lawyer guy was telling a story (interspersed with
flashbacks) about his daughter being bitten by baby black widow spiders
(there was a nest in the mattress) and them almost losing her. She was three
at the time ... in bed between her father and mother :-), and during the FB
scene, I asked my DH, "Is it just the crazy lactnut in me, or does it look
like that mom had been nursing the little girl?" Her nightgown had straps
that were lowered on the one side. Anyway, the lawyer told of noticing his
daughter's swollen face and calling the doctor to find out what was wrong
and what to do. He said that his wife woke up and began BFing her, and they
actually showed it! This was presented casually, as though it was completely
normal. :-) It was the one part of the movie that I just loved.

Janice
