Laurie,
I think this is something that varies widely from woman to woman. In my own
case, I am very sexually active during pregnancy...Much more so than at other
times. And the breastfeeding quickly became sporadic..due to tender
breasts...especially in the first trimester.
However, I do not know if there was a period with no milk, because my first
breastfeed without ceasing throughout the pregnancy. By the time I got "too
big" to be comfortable during intercourse, the breasts were no longer tender
and the breastfeeding frequency resumed.
So, what is the correlation between prolactin and sexual arousal? Or is it
just the lack of sleep that puts a damper on things?
