I have to jump in here from a personal angle. I am the mother of 3 babies 9#3oz,
19#12oz, and 10#6oz. Nursing was beautiful and wonderful right from the start
with all but one (a delee was used with him and that takes babies a while to get
over such an invasion of the mouth. ) Maybe the question that needs to be asked
is are these babies big because mom was taking such wonderful care of herself and
babe PN (on the Brewer diet etc.) or are they big babies who were eating hohos,
pizza, and root bear? I think that those babies are very differant after birth.
Just my thoughts. Brandi Wood Midwifery Apprentice
