I just received my Sept/Oct 99 issue of JOGNN with Kathy Auerbach's "clinical
issues" article, Breastfeeding and Maternal Medication Use--one of several
clinical issues articles re: OB/Gyn nursing and pharmacology. Nicely done. A
welcome addition to the literature. Thanks.
FYI: Also in this issue of JOGNN are articles, 1) A Home Visit Support
Program for Breastfeeding Support and Education, and 2) Fasting in Labor:
Relic or Requirement? There also is an opinion piece, Is It Time to Change
the Paradigm (Is "better birthing through better pharmacy" our paradigm? Is
it time for a change?) Haven't had time to read all of them, but they look
really interesting and it's good to know nurses/nursing are looking at these
issues.
