Gosh, I don't think my kids ever went much longer than an hour at that age!
Remember, it would be perfectly normal for this baby to be nursing every 15
minutes - something that many of us experienced and even encouraged, because
it made our days simpler to have lots of quickie nursings rather than
40-minutes-pinned-to-the-couch.
Since he seems happy, I don't think I'd look into it too closely. Hourly
nursing is *normal*, especially if the mother and baby use nursing as more
than a feeding method. And of course if she weighs, and he's getting only
half what he used to get every 2 hours, he's still getting the same amount,
just snacking more than he did. The wet diapers say the food is going in,
and his pattern falls well within normal.
