The AAP has produced a new booklet on breastfeeding for families- it is quite
good (not free).  The BPOP (Breastfeeding  in Pediatric Office Practice
Program) is distributing formula-free educational materials to over 1000
pediatric offices, with another 400+ on the waiting list.  The AAP Workgroup
on breastfeeding and ACOG are also putting together a breastfeeding manual
for physicians.  There is a LOT being done by pediatricians and Obs to
educate their members.  The AAFP (American Academy of Family Practice) is
coming along s-l-o-w-l-y.
