On Feb 14th, the ABM rep stopped by the hospital where I work and gave out
the cutest stuffed animals. (grin). He also left a big baby bottle full of
candy coated peanuts. The Rep was absolutely adorable also. And of course I
was pointed out by some of the nurses who said "Don't let her see this
stuff--and "come on Barb and eat some candy, don't be a spoil sport".
GGGGRRR!! He also left the little bears that clip on the stethoscopes but the
nurses were instructed to put a piece of tape over the ABM name on the
bears' nurses cap ( the bears were dressed as nurses)..
I haven't been on much this past week-had to have my gallbladder removed last
Wed. My abdomen still is uncomfortable and sitting is a pain because of the
incision in my belly button. So I stay in a semi reclining position most of
the day. When given the pre-op instructions, I noticed that BF babies cannot
nurse for 7 hrs prior to surgery, so tomorrow when I go to have my staples
removed, the surgeon is gonig to get a little bfing education!! As much as I
am paying him, he can afford to listen to me for a few minutes. And it is
great that we discussed pre-op fasting times just a couple of weeks ago.

out!)
