I am old enough I don't HAVE to recertify in Peds or Neo-perinatal Med, but I
have done it just to prove myself.  Anyone younger than me (?I) MUST
recertify in Peds and all the pediatrics subspecialties.  Most physicians in
Internal Medicine, FP, many surgical specialties also must recertify by exam
at intervals.  Nurses are the last hold outs - but it's coming!
