I went for my first post operation check up today. The Xray tech looked at
me and asked *does your hip hurt?*
Yeah, it's a little tender but nothing bad.
*well it should hurt like crazy because it's dislocated big time*
I asked him to show me the xray and I couldn't believe it myself. I have been
so careful with everything and I can't think of a time when it could have
slipped out -- it's a puzzler to every one.
The doctor tried today, very gently to pull it back into place but I couldn't
handle the pain.
Anyway, on Wednesday they are going to put me to sleep and put it back in
under fluoroscopy Fluoroscopy makes it so everything is seem in real time?
So it lets the doctor see what is happening while he is doing it. Once he
has it in; he wants to move it around and see what makes it come out. This
will help him design an external brace that will hopefully prevent that
movement from happening again.
They are not planning on doing surgery unless it absolutely necessary for
some unknown reason. I guess I won't be home for Thanksgiving.
So I am a little behind on my email if you need me write direct.
