My kids all have had dolls and doll slings. We throw out the bottle
that invariable comes with the toy doll (even Grandma participates in
throwing out the bottles.) Nontheless, a toy bottle found its way into
our home. My kids are were quick to "reassure me" that there was
"probably breastmilk in the bottle."
My children all have taken turns "nursing" their dolls when they were
younger. And recently, after a busy day of errands and car trips, my
exasperated 2.5 year old put his hands on hips and shot out, "Mommy, you
NEVER nurse me!" I did what every good breastfeeding mother does . . .
I nursed him.
So much for housework or homework!
