I like the cumberbund word but I wouldn't think lots of folks would know
what that was. AT least not in my neck of the woods. I usually say "melt"
the baby right into you.
Now for the nipple sandwich technique, here in New Orleans I say "like the
baby is taking a bite out of a big po-boy or muffaletta."
[po-boy or poor boy sandwich, aka hero sandwich - here "French" bread is
used. Muffaletta pr. muffalotta is a very large Italian sandwich.]
Ah, culture.
