I have been a lurker on and off (mostly on) for the past few years. I
have learned more from you wise ones than I can ever tell you. When I am
at work amongst people who just "don't get it" (even though they think
they do), I find comfort in coming home and connecting with all of you.

I am considering joining the Indian Health Service and was wondering if
anyone has any experience with this organization. I have read some of
their literature and there is a lot of talk re: preventive health care
for children, vaccinations, high rates of otitis media and diabetes, but
nothing that I have read has specifically mentioned the importance of
breastfeeding. I wonder how they regard it.
Any info/feedback would be much appreciated!
