I think that Deanne's NICU sounds very helpful and supportive. There are
those that are not, unfortunately, and many have to deal with those
situations, and the fallout from that lack of support.
Wishing it were different in a lot of NICUS, ....and fully respecting the
challenges of prioritizing when one is constantly dealing with life and
death situations. Would that there were enough staff so that a nurse would
not have to make this choice of which situation to deal with first.
