I am way behind in my reading and responding to Lactnet. However, our
very recent visit from JACHO didn't reveal any problem with our boarder
rooms. We have 6 rooms that are designated as Boarder rooms. These
rooms are only used for boarding moms. They are not patient rooms at
all. I don't know if that makes a difference. Patient's who have a baby
stay in the NICU or on the NBN are allowed to use these rooms to be with
their babies to continue to breastfeed them. I can't imagine it would be
different just because it is another state.
