Ann,

I work as an LC at a hospital that accepts high-risk pregnancy referrals,
so I have seen a lot of moms who are pregnant or breastfeeding and
have sickle cell. I have never had anyone question the breastfeeding
aspect? Do you think it might be an uninformed HP who is concerned
about heavy IV doses of pain meds during a sickling crisis?
