I have a few suggestions that may help. Take what is useful and leave the
rest:
I agree if she can do w/o the SNS at nite that would be easier.
Use a large thick pad to absorb any leakage/spillage and go topless, so they
have easy access to her. It is easier to wash the pad every day. If she
needs the SNS, maybe wear a sports bra type top to bed so she can just lift
when needs to nurse. Or a nsg top that lifts up but hides the tubing of the
SNS.
Use one of those large lounging chair-pillows that look like the top of a
chair/recliner. She could prop in bed, leaning back, with a baby on each
side and sleep while nursing. And/or use a twin pillow to help.
Could she possibly offer a hi calorie snack at bedtime, since these are 8 mo
olds? I am not sure what they eat, but perhaps this would stave off some
hunger pangs at nite. This could include her milk or the supplement in a cup
(if they take a cup) and then nurse for comfort to sleep.
