According to the 1998 USPDI, pages 2649-2650:

Spiramycin:

Molecular weight = 843.1
pKa = 7.9
Oral bioavailability = 33-39%
Protein binding = 10 to 25%
Half life = 5.5-8 hours (oral)
Peak = 3-4 hours (oral)

Under Breastfeeding, it says "Spiramycin is distributed into breast milk."


In Briggs, 5th edition, page 976, it says "Spiramycin is excreted into breast milk.
Nursing infants of mothers receiving 1.5 g/day had spiramycin serum concentrations of
20 micrograms/mL.  This concentration was bacteriostatic.
