Well, today I held my first prenatal breastfeeding class since the fated
CPSC declaration. I went armed with many of the articles forwarded by
the infamous lactnet activists. Know what? It was the most interesting
class I've had in a long time. We got down to the real nitty gritty of
night time parenting and there was an intellegent discussion held and
participated in by all. In the end the young parents there were
discussing futons on the nursery floor! Without the declaration, it is
unlikely we would have even discussed this.
