Yes, personal injury/class action lawsuits are on contingency.  The
problem is finding a group of people who will claim they were injured by
the product and the negligence of the company.  Then, one needs to find
experts who will back this testimony.  Then, a jury that would agree to
this.

A good case might be one where mom has miscarried, receives a box of
unsolicited formula shortly after what the due date for her child would
have been, this causes emotional distress to the point where she seeks
psychiatric help.  Maybe parents whose children have been proven to be
irreparably harmed by formula would be another good case.

Guess you can tell my dh is a litigator :-D
