I wasn't going to add to this, because of the personal nature of it all, but
I will.
We have been on WIC for the past 8 years. I was pregnant when we got on it.
my husband was in the army and I was a SAHM. My daughter remained on it
till 5 y/o. At that time I was pregnant with my son and he's now been on it
for his entire life. We are a family of 4, one income, and my dh makes a
decent living.
I am thankful we have it. Milk, cheese, eggs, and all the other things they
provide are getting more and more expensive. It sure does help.
We were also on Medicaid when I was pregnant with my son and the kids are
both on it now.
