Carol, I hope the Upledger Institute Lymph Drainage is one they video tape!
I have an article from Can Med Assoc Journal, 145(4) pages 299-306,
"Stripping out pus in lactational mastitis: a means of preventing breast
abcess." It refers back to another article "Treatment of acute puerperal
mastitis and breast abcess." Can Fam Physcian 1988, 34, pages 2221-2227
which I'm going to try to find. I'm not sure, but I think there may be a
slightly different focus to the two methods or perhaps The Upledger Method
is done sooner, while it is still a plugged duct and hasn't moved on to
mastitis.
Hope someone more familiar will comment. Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
