As someone who <ugh> actually read Bottlefeeding Without Brains cover to
cover, I can assure you that Ms. Robin did not have primary lactational failure.
She ended up being hospitalized for <can you guess?> a raging case of
MASTITUS, and they wouldn't let her keep the baby with her to keep up
nursing. So, duh, she lost her supply, etc., etc., and now she blames the
breastfeeding "zealots" for making her feel guilty, instead of blaming the moronic
doctor and hospital administration that sabotaged her breastfeeding experience.
