I too have been disgusted with the Rugrats for some time now. They
positively WORSHIP the bottles, especially in the movie feature. Did anyone
notice how the mother was given a goat at the baby shower??!! There was
something said about goats milk being the best thing for the baby. I can't
remember the exact wording. Our children are learning this stuff every day
in the most subtle and not so subtle ways. It's really such a shame.
I saw a movie recently about a family in the 60s who "thought" that there
had been a nuclear war. Anyway, the baby was born in this underground
shelter and you guessed it, there were shots of the bottles. It seemed like
product placement to me. There was absolutly no reason for that bottle to be
there unless someone was paid to put it there. It had no effect in the scene
what so ever except to be shown sitting on the table. If you're spending
years in a shelter, how practical is formula feeding? It makes my head spin!
