I had half an eye on a tv programme last night here in the UK all about
dangers of taking Tegretol and becoming pregnant. It can cause birth
defects. A syndrome has been named; some of the defects are heart problems,
facial/cranial deformity, eye problems, behaviour problems, plus many more.
sorry, cannot remember the name given for the syndrome. Seems that not
enough GPs are keeping up to date with the masses of information in the UK
medical journals in the past decade or so on dangers of taking this drug for
fertile women.
