I have not followed this thread, but of course women can have let downs and
not feel them. I have watched this happen before my eyes. A baby is on the
breast, nibbling away. Then all of a sudden he starts to drink like there's
no tomorrow. I mention to the mother that she just had a letdown. And she
says "Oh?".
By the way, breast compression works nicely to *simulate* and *stimulate* a
letdown. Works for pumping too.
