Here are two articles I got from the LLLI's Center for Breastfeeding
Information about 6 years ago:
Singh, M., Sugathan, P.S., & Bhujwala, R.A. (1982). Human colostrum
for prophylaxis against sticky eyes and conjunctivitis in the
newborn. Journal of Tropical Pediatrics, 28(2), 35-37.
Tomsak, R.L. (1978). A brief history of the use of human milk in
ocular therapeutics. Bul Cleveland Med Libr, 24(1), 12-21.
Both are rather old, which means it's time for a new study.
