Have any of you worked with moms who's infants have been diagnosed with
osteogenesis imperfecta? Please email me privately as well as to the list.
I have a newborn, full-term, SGA who is still in the NICU. Mom has begun
pumping to provide EBM for infant, but is being told that she cannot hold the
infant to breastfeed due to the brittle bones. We'll be working with
positioning, possibly a sling, etc. to make feeds easier. But ideas would be
gladly accepted.
