My firstborn son is also the reason I am a lactation consultant.  He had
a tongue-tie, hypotonia, and a neuromotor dysfunction.  How's that for a
loaded deck?
        In my own practice, any time I have seen boy-girl fraternal twins, the
boy was the one who had trouble latching/sucking, even if the girl was
smaller at birth.  Go figure.
