My father who is Native American (Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico) would tell
me never to breastfeed my babies when I was mad or angry, because I
would "pass on these bad feelings to my baby through my milk." He also
told me to think positive thoughts to help my babies grow and be happy.
Harmony and balance is achieved when mother and baby are both happy.

I didn't argue with him:)
