When we speak of....or think of contemporary moms...let's not forget the =
incredible fatigue and discouragement that can be and IS a part of new =
motherhood. Let's not ASSUME that she has a helpful, or even minimally =
supportive husband...let's not presume that she has anyone in her life =
who is giving her support....Let's assume the worst...that YOU are her =
only positive influence. The little spark that is her self-esteem will =
ignite, but only if we provide the oxygen. The woman may be living "in =
a vacuum"...let's empower her to be what she wants...not what she =
fears....and not what her husband or critical family says she is..... =
Keep in mind that you probably had a better support system than she =
had... and be empathetic. She was alone....until you. Sincerely, Elena =
