Just a suggestion, but this might be a great opportunity to suggest bottle
feeding as you would breastfeed. ie: only Mom feeds baby, use an SNS, do
skin to skin whenever possible, feed on request, feed amounts as baby
indicates - not by ounces ... Dr. Sears has something in one of his books
for Moms who bottle-feed. You could even suggest attachment parenting -
sling use, family bed, as ways to make up for the lack of hormone changes
the Mom will get. I think I remember reading that all this stuff helps you
feel in love with your child.
