Myths I have heard......
1. Lump in breast is because baby blew air into breast causing embolism.
2. Mothers today are not constitutionally sound enough to produce
breastmilk.
(Both of the above are from MD's)
3. Don't forget babies who are allergic to breastmilk.
4. Nursing girls will cause them to be homosexual.
5. Nursing boys will cause them to be homosexual.
( Have heard both sides of that one).
6. Will cause breasts to stretch, sag, deflate like a ballon, increase
in size, decrease in size.
7. Breastfeeding caused breast cancer ( this was a teen who had plugged
ducts and grandmother told her this).
