Anne,
Rachel Brusseau, who was on LACTNET for a while, did a study of this for
her thesis. If you search the archives for Brusseau since November 1997
you will find the thread dealing with this and the url where her thesis
is posted (it is still there I checked it today). If you are unable to
access the thesis let me know and I can send it to you in html format.
