John Detwiler asked for opinions of this work.

It's a mixture of the third piano concerto and various other bits and
pieces which may or may not be all original Tchaikovsky.  As a pastiche,
it works fairly well but is not up to the level of the usual canon.  The
last movement contains a banal theme which is given the full orchestral
treatment and is really OTT.  There have been a few recordings of it but
Ormandy and the Philadelphia play it for all it's worth, which is not
always very much.  It's worth hearing occasionally as long as you don't
take it too seriously.
