Yes, his article mentions either the physicians bf or spouse's bf in
connection with the questionaires.
"Many more practicing physicians than residents reported that they or
their spouse had breast-fed an infant for at least 2 weeks (ie, had
previous personal breast-feeding experience)."
and
"However, residents and physicians who had themselves, or whose spouses
had, breast-fed an infant were more likely to feel confident in
assisting with breast-feeding initiation (residents: 73% vs 38%;
practicing physicians: 80% vs 50%).
But that is all in direct connection between a personal bf experience
and their practice, knowledge, and/or attitude.
