I have received an email from someone who has recently rec'd some nasty
email as a result of a question which she posted on Lactnet. She was
admonished about asking something basic, as if she had not checked her
references, etc.
Now as we all know, this happens sometimes on Lactnet. People are new to
Lactnet, or they don't check the archives, but in this case, the person
involved had checked.
The email she received put her off, and she felt it was very intimidating
and rude. So, if you have something to say to people via email, (even
private) remember your manners, ok?
There are ways to say things. Be nice.
