No, but they expect not to be drugged when they try, and they expect
to have the breast offered in a way that makes sense to them - with
plenty of space for their lower jaw, nipple not presented to their
chin, and so on. I've always wondered if the reason we stop being
sore by about 6 weeks is that the babies finally figure out how to
take our lousy positioning and make it work for them the way it's
supposed to.
