Why would it not be okay to breastfeed with this infection?  Unless we are
worried about spreading this infection to prematures in a nursery (in which
case we worry about the mother spreading the infection, not her milk), the
mother and baby have shared this bug for a while now.  The baby's best
protection is to keep breastfeeding.  Don't physicians understand how
breastfeeding works?  (Rhetorical question, since I know many, many don't).
